Have been on Byetta for two years anddue to chaotic lifestyle fin it difficult to anticipate meal times and also very sensitive to the injections . Consultant is going to see if we can switch to Victoza.
What are the differences between the two meds? apart from non meal...
Taste is one of the things that I notice on Byetta - been on it since March too. - I often have a sort of salty but sweet taste in my mouth and some things do taste sweet - chicken soup is one of them. I do find it a problem - I try to cleanse my palette with fruit and a cup of tea but even that...

I would get another one issued - my second pen was a duffer - wouldn't turn back properly - its only occasionallt they have a duf one but it does happen.
I have been on Glucophage SR for two years - it really does help with the tummy problems ( causes of my recent reversion all sorted now and back to normal) a friend told me about it and I am eternally grateful

I got given a fabric case -0 bit like my meter holder but I prefer to carry it around in a bracelet box with a rigid shell - - a specs case would be an idea too. I don't carry it with me unless I am out for the day when I might not be back for the evening meal.

Hi Dennis,
I would agree with you and my experience until a month ago was the other way - but fingers crossed with the new regime of brunch instead of a breakfast of porridge and fruit and nuts it seems to be settling down. Mind you , there are quite a few nasty bugs...

My story is similar to daisyhoney. started Byetta in early march - now 3stone lighter with mmol between 4 and 8. Blood pressure is down too Yes had nausia at first but it soon settled - - the side plate is a good one - only way to get hubby not to put too much...
