Well I’m 65, short and overweight ( at the moment) I intend to lose weight and get myself fitter but being told I have type2 diabetes was a bit of a shock. Oh yes I ate the wrong things, crisps, chocolate but not in massive amounts unless I was worrying about things or got bored, not that I have time to get bored because along with a friend of mine we run a non registered, self funding charity called Happy Memories. It’s for people with dementia and their carers, we organise social events like lunch clubs, fish n chip fridays, tea dances, shows to the theatre and raise money doing sponsored walks, raffles and tea in the garden parties.
I need to do more exercise and start walking again that’s a must! I have a exercise vibration plate at home (Christmas present from husband) so using that.
I love to meet people and think I have a bubbly personality, I can get a bit loud, so I’m told but I love to laugh to travel, holiday in our caravan and spend time with my family and friends. This is me xx
