Hi Only recently diagnosed T2 as being just over treatment line - took one month for them to decide that! Diet and exercise - no meds. I have cut out sugar/sugary things and gone for high GI as replacements. Considering low carb, but the one meal I did this with I felt really spacey/shakey...

Just seen diabetes nurse today who confirmed diagnosed as type 2 diabetic given readings within treatment range. Will be using diet and exercise rather than tablets as only just over treatment line and would rather try that to begin with. HBa1c: 48 approx. 3 weeks ago (fasting sugar 7.3)...

Hi After a virus (cold/flu like plus skin rash!) and being completely 'shot to pieces' a non fasting blood test gave 12.4 2hours after porridge (milk with raisins) weight 13 st 2lb. Cut sugar out and sugary things immediately (not that I had that much anyway but was sooo hungry all the time!)...
