    Ideas for suprise party

I have no idea what the game is called, but remember playing it at brownies and guides and more recently at a hen party & have to admit it works really well as an adults game too. Think you'll know it as I attempt to explain it. You will need - 2 Dice, Fork & knife, chopping board, large bar...

Good luck. Coming into summer does make it that bit easier - winter is the worst time for the evening comfort eating!

High BG late evening, what is the best thing to do?

You could do a test before proposed snack? If its below 7, then take a 1-2cp snack, in not trust your BG level and the dose you took earlier. I LOVE food, skipping evening snacking has been like losing a pet, all over again - but I am so happy I did.

High BG late evening, what is the best thing to do?

If your bedtime reading is the same as the morning reading then it means your basal is correct & your bolus has stopped working for the night. I would take a correction dose if my BG is high, but i've been doing this for years now and know if my bolus has stopped working - I find mine can go on...

High BG late evening, what is the best thing to do?

If you are going to bed with sugars in the high teens, what are they the next morning? Is this every night or when you eat certain things? How soon after your meal is the 'bedtime' test? Have you attempted to calculate your snacks (after the fact) & inject the appropriate amount along with your...

The iPhone 4S, with iBGSTAR attached in a smart case from Canada. No need to disconnect for charging, you can do it all via the mini USB cable thru a small hole in the bottom of the case - it charges the meter & the phone. Having everything together like this does make it easier to manage for...

    Diabetes app

I love my iBGSTAR and have it attached to my iphone and use the software. I got a case from Canada which makes it very neat & 1 unit, so it is always to hand. Every 2 weeks I send the reading by e-mail to my DSN and its all too easy. Is anyone using it with a 3GS btw?

    help with metformin

Infection can make your sugars go up, of course. Bring proper notes into clinic with you, it wouldn't be fair to give you advice on here and not know your medical history or what else is going on - but 2 hours after meal may not be enough time for you to level off again - I know some meals...
