Have been a type 2 for about 15 years ,tablet controlled.8 years ago i had a pulmonary embolism ,i had a test to see if any genetic disorder existed in the family,this came back as positive and was taken off the warfarin,told it was unlikely to happen again but guess what it did and i had another 2 years later,touch wood on warfarin for life but managing ok.
