    **** Day

According to the reports I have seen on various diabetes sites it can cause brain fog, memory loss, poor concentration etc. I think there was one on here or at least the diabetes UK site. Sent from my SM-G925F using Diabetes.co.uk Forum mobile app

    **** Day

Looks like I am about to be dismissed from my job. Basically I wrote a report that wasn't up.to standard and the employer will not accept that my T2D had an effect. I wasn't diagnosed when it happened but my first results just after showed me to be almost off the scale. They have a report based...

    Diabetic sweets

I keep hearing about this LCHF thing but I have not got into it. I have pretty much cut out all sweet things and alcohol - so far it seems to be working OK. I thought I would find it really hard especially as I love my beers and wines but it's been OK. My wife has been on slimming world and...

    More employment help

I was suspended the day after my blood test. Got my results on the friday (3 days later) Several people commented on my drinking, not alcohol, and tiredness so I went to my GP. Was suspended the next day for issues which occurred in the preceeding couple of weeks and months. I didn't think...

    More employment help

I would have to say that there is a definite adverse effect or I wouldn't be in the situation I currently am. I get what you are saying though. Without my meds however I think I would struggle. In any case my issues are a result of unidentified and untreated diabetes and my employers have not...

    memory ??

I hope my employer reads this before my discipline hearing. I got suspended for poor performance in the couple of months before I was diagnosed. Hba1c of 107. They don't believe it's related to my condition. T2 by the way.

    Not seeing any improvement

Should I be testing myself then ? My doc hasn't mentioned it but how do I know how I am doing. I feel awful fairly often now possibly due to my exercise and lifestyle changes but I have no idea what my levels are at any given time. Sent from my SM-G925F using Diabetes.co.uk Forum mobile app
