I think it's a mix of both at the moment ... or at least that's the approach I'm taking. I'm managing by diet at the moment and my usual readings are between 5 and 7 but work have taken the view that anybody falling into one of the risk categories identified by the government should work from...
7.0 at 7.10 am. Bedtime reading was 5.9 at 10.55 pm.
Back to work tomorrow which means back to earlier starts. Hopefully might mean some lower readings.
7.0 at 7.10 am. Bedtime reading was 5.9 at 10.55 pm. And two hours later it's 7.3.

6.3 at 7.10 am. Bedtime reading (second day of fast) was 5.9 at 10.55 pm.
Last week off work for me - nurses very happy with healing of wound from op, so back to the coalface next Monday. New low weight this morning as well so feeling positive.
Hope everybody's having a good day.
There's a preserved line (the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway) about ten minutes' walk from where I live. Timed it well today as I saw one on my walk and then went to drop some books off at their museum.
Hope you had a nice restful day?
6.5 at 7.45 am. Bedtime reading was 5.2 at 10.10 pm. A day's fasting yesterday followed by a good kip.
Sort of day I love - cold and crisp but with the sun out, so heading out for a walk soon and maybe go and see some steam engines.
Have a great day everybody.
Similar story for me, except that in my case they found out during the op - came round to them asking me if I knew I was diabetic! Diagnosed Type 2 and put straight on insulin - six yeasr on and after a lot of ups and downs I'm now treating it by diet and exercise.
Either Montezuma's "Absolute Black" for me (Sainsbury's stocki it) or 90% Lindt - and here's the thing - Lindt 90% tastes absolutely fabulous after "Absolute Black"!
