I was diagnosed on the 12/2/13, which was pancake day at the time, I was more gutted about missing that than being in hospital for three days .
It’s been 5 years now and I’ve handled it so well, I accepted it from the beginning, I took it on as a challenge. It’s still challenging but im not letting it take over to rule my life.
