Diagnosed 42 years ago, relatively healthy - no diabetes complications, had 6 miscarriages (possibly diabetes related), I have 4 children - all born by c-section.
I had lumbar fusion surgery a year ago after chronic sciatic for 10 years and was one of the best things I've ever done, pain virtually non existent.
I still hate being 'different' and have always wanted a cure, I do suffer from occasional hypos, as I am quite active they can happen day (very embarrassing if I am out) and night, I am a fairly positive person and have a wicked sense of humour, laughter is the best medicine lol.
