I have PCOS and now am type 2. My periods got so bad I was constantly anaemic. I had a Mirena fitted and it made a huge difference. Menopause has stopped all that now but it helped me survive while they were so heavy. Worth a try I would suggest.
Took zopiclone when my ex left me with 2 small kids. I was concerned it would make me dopey and unable to look after the kids. It was fine. They only send you off gently and you can wake up if needed. Also do not leave you asleep in the morning as they are short acting. Hope that helps.

Have you tried Spatone. Great liquid iron supplement and does not upset tum. Was given it during pregnancy as I am always borderline anaemia. Easier uptake as well.
