I'm told that I need to be eating a certain amount of carbs as a diabetic because it's slow energy release which is needed as a T2D?
I do eat 2 brown slices of toast most mornings and pasta, rice, pots at least once a week with evening meal.

Yes, my new Doctor told me I should have never been put on this, told me to stop immediately which I have. I did ask the question whether I should come off slowly like you suggested but he said "no".
