I have had Diabetes for 16 years, which means that I got it at the age of one. I've been through all the hard times a diabetic can have, ranging from hormones (still going on) to diseases.
Im currently using the "Dexcom G5" to check bloodsugar levels, which uses a tiny sensor that sits on my arm for 7 days and then I switch to a different one, to keep it clean. The sensor is connected to an app in my phone (only avaliable for Iphone users). Its really convenient! But the sensor tends to fall off sometimes but is easily fixed with some medical tape ^-^ My parents have a "Follow" app making them also able to see what my bloodsugar level is on, at any time! And it alerts you when you get low or high (you can set the limit yourself).
I avoid the pump to be honest, because I dont want to carry that around and sitting connected with a wire to my stomach, a bit too "cyborg" for me >.<
