I only had plain chicken for breakfast today, my DN advises no insulin for a totally protein meal, and my bg was 10mmol. So obviously that rule doesn't always apply. Diabetes is so full of variables.

It has been good for me, reduced BG dramatically initially, you still need to be careful with diet and exercise, it makes you widdle out loads of sugar, it also helps weight loss as your are widdling out the calories too. Down side is frequent Thrush, so stock up on Canesten and drink lots.
