    Swimming - What to drink eat during ?

    I swim between 80 and 100 lengths and what i find is that i run out of energy during the swim and want to get some extra energy from something . What do you suggest , would prefer it to be fluid based as there is a need to hydrate too ? I eat my breakfast about an hour before i start the swim...
