DMM49

64 year old retired manager who has had diabetes since 1998. Initially thought to be Type 2 but now confirmed to be Type 1. On 5 insulin injections a day. Controlling things pretty well but could do better. Recently, Jan 2014, started counting carbs and adjusting insulin in accordance with the amount of carbs being consumed at any given meal. I'm a logical individual who gets frustrated when I can't work out why my BG levels have gone either high or low for no particular reason. Keep a pretty comprehensive check on all the relative numbers.
