@Bcgirl I usually get up wash, 10 mins knee exercises go down stairs and then take BG - so, like you, about 15 mins actually rising but before eating. I understand that the monitors / tests have an error margin of 10-15% depending on make, so all readings are a ball park...

6.1 today. Ahh well, I know it was the dal as BG was 8.1 3.5 hours after meal! The Christmas puddings and cake look good though so need to feed wrap and keep safely out of the way.

Squeaked getting into the 5 hive with a 5.9 - was expecting much worse. Anyway no real plans murky and yuk outside so might light the woodburner and try and do some knitting - and go for a walk of course!

Agree. I usually eat nuts and treat of pork scratchings. I still make cakes & puddings for for OH but I am absolutely fine about not eating them and go for yogurt berries a date and the dark chocolate. Eating out here is a nightmare!

Back in the 5 hive with a 5.1 - went to a salsa class after a meal of home made feta dumplings (3 types of of cheese eggs flour & semolina - not sure how to work out carbs) which was fun and obviously good exercise!
