    Hi, thankyou for your reply I will look into getting a blood sugar meter. I am on 2 500mg metformin one at breakfast and one at tea, my hba1c results were 7.8 which I think means they were averaging 10 mmol (not sure if that's right).

    Hi, i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes just before Christmas but I've got no way of testing my blood sugar levels. What are the symptoms of high and low blood sugars. Thankyou
