i rarely check daughters bm during the night...she doesn.t let me near her...she often hypos at 3 am and raids the fridge after exhausting her dextrose tabs supplies....she doesn.t wake me but looks awful in the motning.... as shes over compensated and hi.....life eh shes on humilin m3 twice a...

its never easy to get bs right especially with growing kids....how about giving her her normal supper and giving an extra unit of levemir ....my daughter will if shes going to hypo at 3 am. so how about testing then for a rew nights.....its difficult doing it on a school week as tired from her...

lm sure someone will give you a posible reason......but sometimes a fatty carby meal can take ages for yhe insulin to work and thus you get high bs then later they shoot down...not sure why!!!

injections may bruise....use small needles and how about other sites.....what regime are you on....can you carb count and all that stuff....x

if you.re not taking insulin you will be very hungry as all those carbs are just sitting in your blood ....your losing weight as you.re burning fat which causes ketones without insulin around which can cause death. so why did you stop taking insulin??????????

well defining normal is a problem in itself.....why aren.t you testing injecting where you eat.....scary at first but that.ll help....when all the questions why you doing that and a few comments ...no one will really notice your diabetic as it becomes part of you and your normal......good luck xxxxx

ok..you can reduce that....chopped tinned toms..buy chillies and garlic.....blitz with a wand for pasta...buy shop brands as they are so much cheaper as are value fruit and buy veg loose...just a few suggetions....a slow cooker sounds good too...value muffins and crumpets are good too...do asda...

poor things...both of you....i can.t see why she can.t inject in her arms and tummy....she must be having only a small amount of insulin anyway at 4 and the less as she falls into the honey moon....make sure she has the small 4mm needleds those....good luck xx
