I will not do it again for sure!! It’s been really hard but well worth it. I now know what to eat and keep healthy carbs between 30 and 50 a day and enjoying my new life style of food.
Went to GP today my A1C is now 40 was 68 in November, lost 21lb and off Metformin!! And now no longer diabetic. I wanted to share my joy. I was so confused in November but got lots of help from here so thank you.
I buy the low carb tortilla wraps in Sainsburys and use one as a pizza base and it was a game changer for me I add all my favourites on top and delicious.
Hi Christine I add a tablespoon to Greek yogurt and few blueberries every morning, and I take AVC before meals as well. I make flaxseed bread ( such as easy recipe) so get flaxseeds that way. Hope that helps. Debbie
Hi I’ve been using organic cider vinegar every morning and chia seeds before every meal and I’m absolutely amazed as my BG is 5 almost all the time and have stopped 2 metformin every day and now just take one a day, is this a fluke?

Can anyone tell me why my blood sugars every morning are around 7.4 after fasting on average 14 hours then after meals is around 5.2 all day and evening. What am I doing wrong ( on low carb) ???? Is there any advise / help to get it lower ?
Oh I see that’s why I didn’t get one 2 years ago, I only got one then as my readings were so high this time which is brilliant as I’ve managed to getting readings right down now and can now keep checking it. I thought everyone who was diabetic had one. Thanks for info. And well done on your...
