just to give you a typical sense of a day, basal i am on 5 units and have been on a 1:30 ratio carbs wise..i tend to have a low carb diet..perhaps having 40g spread over the day...today i injected 1.5 units to cover 34g carbs and i went up to 11 (from 7) this came down 2 hours...

I am new to diabetes (diagnosed march 21) and trying to find my feet with carb counting, ratios and all that is inbetween!
quick question: today i had no carbs for breakfast or lunch and therefore no insulin and blood sugar still went down (3.2) any ideas why?
