    RH and beetroot

Oh I see. Maybe try eating a small amount of beetroot separately. Then measuring your bs levels. I’ve found this helps to identify trigger foods.

    RH and beetroot

It was probably the new potatoes and possibly the tomatoes rather than the beetroot. These would cause my levels to rise. Hope that helps!

    Is this to be expected?

Thanks. I have been counting my calories and am eating enough. I haven’t lost any weight in the past two months. I have a CGM and I stay between 4 and 6

    Is this to be expected?

Thanks, I have been adding extra salt, although I haven’t had my blood pressure checked in a while (and it has always been on the low side)

    Is this to be expected?

Thanks, I am between 50g and 100g, never above. A usual day is: BF: 2 boiled eggs. 1 avocado L: chicken salad D: Fish with vegetables Snacks: nuts/olives/cheese I’ve not tried fasting as I’ve felt like I’ve needed to eat to give me more energy. Not sure though how much of that is psychological!

    Newly diagnosed with RH

Thanks for your swift reply, much appreciated! That's really helpful. I had a similar experience with a fasting test too, it was only for 24 hours but I felt better during it than I'd felt for months which made me skeptical about the advice to eat every few hours. I suppose I was asking how...

    Newly diagnosed with RH

Hello, I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia around 3 weeks ago. I have read through a lot of posts on this forum (that's been so helpful!) And I think I've been quite lucky getting a quick diagnosis. I had my first hypo requiring hospital treatment in February this year. My...
