Thankyou for replying, he went to 14.8 but currently playing outside. I knew we were being lulled into a false sense of security as had 4 days of green readings!!!!!!

Hi there, my son is very newly diagnosed (2 weeks) and has just had his first hypo - it was nearly luchtime and took BG reading, 3.4 gave him some apple juice and he had his lunch straight away, took reading 15 minutes later and it was 3.8, gave him more apple juice and re-read 15 minutes later...
