    Thanks for the replies. I have no experience of diabetes this is all new so it's good to get some input from others. I have a check up tomorrow so now I have a few days of readings I will have more info to discuss with the doctor. Thanks xx

    The ranges they have given me is fasting of 5.5, pre meal of 6 and 2 hours post meal of 7. I can't get anywhere near those numbers unless I eat 100% carbs and literally don't move.

    Also, I should have said I'm not actually craving carbs, so that's not a problem, it's more problem with low energy, feeling dizzy, shaky etc. and consistently low readings. x
