    Protein meal

    Insulin is still required to cover protein, although protein doesn't spike blood sugar to the same extent..you'll find you maybe need less to cover low carb high protein meals..

    Try to differentiate between weight and fitness..if you've only started doing more strenuous exercise, you may not be getting lighter because at the same time as loosing fat you may be building some lean muscle :)..judge your diet and exercise on how you feel as opposed to what the scales say
