I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes approximately 8 years ago when suffering from Chronic Intractable Migraines and having treatments for that. I had no signs of Diabetes except in my blood tests.
Both my grandmothers were Type 2 and then my father (he went blind due to lack of control of his Type 2 on insulin).
My youngest sister was diagnosed after me and has been on insulin for some years. My older brother was diagnosed a few years ago (Type 2) and my mother also diagnosed a bout a year ago too.
