Thank you both for your replies. There a GP who is supposed to specialise in diabetes so as I'm new to the practice I'll ask to see her next time. I know I do get bloated if I eat anything with wheat in it so I'm trying to cut it out to see if that will make any difference. Thanks again. Fifi R
