Hi John
That's a shocking way to treat any patient
During my primary diagnosis of diabetes my GP and I arranged appts at the end if his morning/evening surgeries so there was never any time limit
I own everything to him and being well controlled
It's your entitlement under the NHS
Keep going
I'm in the very fortunate position in that I've never been exposed to hypos
Primarily because my partner is and has been type 1 for 43 years and I didn't want to wake up at 2am and munching Detroxal! !!
and wanted to avoid that.
With the fantastic help of my GP (and friend) he guided me towards...
I haven't had to take any testing of blood or urine for 8/9 years now
Only time is every 6 months at the surgery
That's my proof that the guidance in the book works. Decrying the data produced by NHS Scotland and if they didn't want to put results in the middle of the chart, who am I to...
Porridge is a great start
Also look at your portion size, amazing what 23grms of rice/pasta reduction can help reduce your cholesterol
One of the items in the "book" is that mashed potatoes are not as good as boiled potatoes
The target graph is to encourage all registered with NHS Scotland to achieve the "golden locks standard"
Your disdain for those professionals does you no credit
The literature for all of this is in the GL book by Nigel Denby
Your choice my needs have been addressed to my satisfaction
Thank you zand much appreciated but I do genuinely believe most people could benefit from it
It's no easy and yes I stray, but then who doesn't
Enjoy your life and I hope you always successful
It's not in the book "you never know what you can't do until you try"
This target shows the results of my most recent blood and urine samples as held at mydiabetesmyway.co.uk at NHS SCOTLAND
The benefits of living under a Scottish parliament and continued by Ninewells hospital in Dundee
Thanks
Thank you for all the "advice" but you've all missed the pointment
I have no other means or need of testing as my regime adopted from the book and my GP let's me know my situation. That's all I have and the picture will hopefully allow everyone to understand the results of 15 years enjoying...
It colour and is shown in diabetics who test their strips Easy really my GP stopped my testing 8 yrars ago because I was well controlled with his advice and the book
I see my urine and that is all the testing I do
No blood testing, no urine strips and no meter no pills and because of the continued advice followed from my GP and the book, I have remained on diet control since 2001. I am in the words of Michael Moseley "cured" NO I'm well controlled not...
All my results are listed on my account with : mydiabetesmyway.co. uk for NHS Scotland
My GP sends them and they have recorded all of my tests since 1991 for all treatments. MI and other heart conditions
Thank you
