    Type 1 Changes to make to Lantus Dose Day Before Surgery

    Hi folks; I am to have a lap chole and am not sure how much I need to reduce my Lantus by the night before the surgery. I have read to take 50% of the normal amount but I have also read to take 80% of the dosage. Can anyone advise? Many thanks Fiona R
