french - son of a diabetic mum- advising her because the french medical disappoint me (lobbying, ignorance...).
Diabete since 25 years- T2 -Metformin only

  • Before 2015: mediterranean diet(not a choice but our diet) : around hba1C 46.4 (6.4%) - no added sugar
  • 2015 hba1C 36.9 (5.8%) - low glycemic diet (too poor to afford LCHF)--> endo not happy :"ketones is poison!"
  • 2016: hba1C 36.6 (5.5%) - same diet +BG monitoring to remove food with BS +1h >1.4g(7.8 mmol) - weight loss: 7kg - no more hypertension
