New to me, Never seen insulin vs carbohydrate before. I base my insulin intake on my blood Glucose level, with a base level of 15 units for a BG of 8 +/- 5 units for every +/- BG 1 ie: BG 7 10 units insulin BG 9 20 units insulin.

George Sherlock: I also take insulin for my diabetes, and keep a selection of boiled sweets rather than chocolate. Alternatively you can buy Dextrose tablets as a very useful standbye.
