It's not your work colleagues fault if they feel upset, the fact they do is a matter which all concerned need to work out. Everybody should make reasonable adjustments, including you when taking your insulin. Some thought is needed about where, when and with who we inject ourselves. For example...

If you're blood sugars are high, say over 13 your kidneys will start to remove excess sugar from your blood making your urine sweet. Tasting urine has been used to DX diabetes!

Just be carful with the mixers you get. Some bar staff don't give a monkeys what they serve you and with a Vodka it's hard to tell fit it's diet of not. You can test with your drink with your blood glucose meter.

I don't think any meter will always be 100% accurate. Do you inject or use a pump with the NovoRapid?

I bet you'll feel 100 times better when you get your blood sugars under control. I've recently started taking a B12 supplement and I'm sure it's made me feel less tired and more alert with less brain fog.

a blood sugar of 11mmol is the blood of a diabetic. better see you doc.

hi beckz. might be an idea to check your blood sugars to see if they are actually dropping too low if you haven't checked already. does eating something sweet cure your symptoms? cheers glen
