    Freestyle libre reliability

I have been using the Libre system for 5 years now and designed a computer program to help track my readings and compiling at least a thousand tests, it calculates the amount of insulin I should take. I moved to the 14 day sensor as soon as it was released for use here in USA and found no...

    Freestyle Libre + Omnipod integration

I am on my 58th sensor and have tracked every reading and injection of insulin. I have compiled pages of percentages of accuracy and tallies of trends. With my experience of the percent-error that the sensors have VS test strips, I would never trust an automated injection system based on sensor...

Type 2 I Have Serious Doubts On The Accuracy Of Freestyle Libre.

What does "Spot On" mean? Are you comparing the reading with an outside test?

Type 2 Libre Sensor Accuracy, is there any?

Interesting idea. I will try to remember to place a new sensor and hold off activating it 24 hours before this one runs out.

Type 2 Libre Sensor Accuracy, is there any?

I have the 14 day, 1 hour initializing sensor. I have monitored the readings VS test strip for the first 24 hours and have not seen much change in accuracy to speak of.

Type 2 Libre Sensor Accuracy, is there any?

I was not aware of this. Is it from meter-to-PC or meter-to-website-to-pc?

Type 2 Libre Sensor Accuracy, is there any?

I was wondering now many others have the same problems. I went from the 10-day to the 14-day meter and the accuracy is just as lame.

Type 2 Libre Sensor Accuracy, is there any?

Libre tells me that long term data is deleted from the web site. You might have one year.

Type 2 Libre Sensor Accuracy, is there any?

The people at Libre claim that it is to be expected sometimes that the meter VS test strip is off. Really? I find that most of the time, my meter is off from the test strip by 20% to 100% or more. I am on my 38th sensor with only a few failures. They claim that the meter lags the test strip by...

Can something be done to let this forum be readable?

I have been to this web site on numerous browsers and computers so I know it is not a problem at my end. Many new web sites seem to be propagating the problem. The problem is with the use of pink or salmon color text. It is almost impossible to read on a white back ground. I teach computing...

    Freestyle libre reliability

I am now on my 36th sensor. Aside from a few failures which were replaced, I have found the sensor readings to be off, on an average, by more then 30%. Only on rare occasions will the sensor be consistent with the test strip. Yes, I know all about the time delay and the trend indicators but...

Has anyone had experience with CarbQuik Baking mix?

The box says 80% fewer carbohydrates than all-putpose-flour. I made a pie-dough and so far it is coming together identically as when I it has always. I will be making/bakingthe pie later tonight. The vendor says that it an excellent replacement even for cakes. From the web site: "Carbquik...

chopped a few bits of fingers off

My father did that. I don't recall what the recovery was but he suspended a piece of the bloody wood over the table saw as a reminder.

What is it with these invisible sections of this forum?

It is on all computers, different monitors, even links in my e-mail messages. From what I read, it is a plague foisted on us about 5 years ago. I go to the library and they complain about it too. When I click on the popup at the lower part of the screen, I get "Mild" or Red". No option for...

What is it with these invisible sections of this forum?

White letters in light pink text boxes? How silly is that? What good is sticking to a color theme to the expense of not being able to read it? I have tired to adjust the monitor, use other monitors, tried other computers, and other browsers and search engines. Not all of us have perfect eyes...
