Diagnosed over a decade ago as type 2 diabetic but only after my thyroid hit an all-time low so I know that's the main reason for it.
It's Gliclazide controlled right now as Metformin managed to steal all my B12.
If your GP/nurse doesn't check you at least every 6 months - make them!
My average on the meter is between 8 and 11 so I know I have to work harder.
My healthy eating plan has to incorporate thyroid friendly foods and relieve or combat arthritis which can raise my blood sugar when triggered.
