Lantus seems to have no efffect

I'm sure you know that it takes anywhere between 1 to 2 hours before Lantus even starts working. I would consult my doctor about increasing your Lantus dose. How the matter of the spikes are you waiting 15 minutes after your bolus before eating. I fine waiting 15 minutes before you eat help stop...

Can I take humulin m3 kwikpen with gliclazide.

Yeah it's pretty much insulin and a pancreas pounder don't go together usually you use one or the other and if you have insulin resistance then something like metformin goes well with insulin

Injected too much basal by mistake. Help!

It happens. I'm glad thing's turned out ok. I'm a little late putting my two cents in but the decision to eat the extra carbs right on and holding off on the Lantus for about two maybe three hours is perfect. Lantus doesn't kick in for at least one to two hours And it has no peak time.

Honeymoon is ending and advice on insulin pls

I personally use novolog fast acting insulin for mealtime boluses and use Lantus for my overnight basil. But on these two types of insulin for 21 years, works great for me. Fiasp is fast acting and you can eat right away, no waiting.

    Metformin

Hi I was just reading your reluctance about metformin and I've been taking metformin for years. It is the safest insulin resistant drug out there and once you get the dose Set right it will help you. However it is not a weight loss drug, but holding down weight is a benefit.
