I had lactic acidosis on metformin. It’s horrible! The pain in my legs was as much as if I had ran a marathon. I was also extremely sick for a couple of years and ended up hospitalised.
That was 2 years ago I started to recover and I will never even look at metformin again.
It really does work to lower HB1AC.
If it didn’t then I wouldn’t buy it. I would get free prescriptions from my doctor.
I was on metformin for years until it damaged my liver and gave me lactic acidosis as well.
I used l-carnosine for 3 months and my hba1c went from 75 down to 58 my diabetes nurse asked me to come off it to see how much it went up by and within a month it had gone up to 70.
I’m seeing her in a couple days for a review
