You don't need to inform the dvla unless you are on insulin.

Yabbadabbadoo, just come back from visit to my DN my numbers are down from 46 to 35, bloods normal, cholesterol normal, weight down from 16.6 to 12.8 another visit in June and if everything ok then I could be clear..but I must say I couldn't of done it without the help of you people on this...
