Thank you Resurgam, I refused to take statins from the beginning - one of my grandparents was ruined by them. It is good to hear it’s finite, I do notice a difference - a slight improvement and if it ends up occasional grumbles or twinges I’ll cope.

Really? I was told by the Nurse that Weetabix was okay compared to other cereals / breakfasts (along with Oatibix and Shredded Wheat) and was okay to eat as part of my diet.

Thanks for your reply - the only thing I’ve stopped eating are things like Weetabix etc (I found that my stomach was apocalyptic after I ate anything too fibre orientated and I’m a bit nervous about restarting it, on the off chance that I’ve actually developed IBS or similar)...
