Thanks, that explains why I missed the pre stage, my first HbA1c was 85, 12 months later down to 50.

Priory also, I've found them fairly good, but they could do more with regards information supplied, they originally suggested I'd be sent on a course at the Hospital to help me understand Diabetes, it didn't happened. My friend who's had diabetes for a number years has been more help.

Can somebody please explain to me why some people are diagnosed with Pre Diabetes while others go straight being Diabetic?
