Went off the keto diet - big mistake.

The libre reader itself, that little black monitor, can take glucose strips and ketone test strips. Although you only get ten ketone strips in a pack.

    Depression and Diabetes

I've struggled for a long time with depression and anxiety. For me, it's always going to be there in the background. What I have managed to do though is formulate healthier coping mechanisms, a sort of sequence of steps that if I follow, doesn't allow me to sink any deeper into bad mental...

Then they thought there was maybe something up with the pancreas so away I went for a CT scan, the little ****** is fine. It took the consultant five mins to see the problem with a libre. I...

    Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for all the input guys. Today I did a little experiment, though it was absolutely hair raising to say the least. I checked my bloods and I was at 3.9mmol. I decided to go to the shops, taking sugar with me of course. I hadn't eaten properly today either, so I knew my levels would go down...

Passing out, newly diagnosed type 1

I'm sorry that you are both going through this, it must be incredibly scary and frustrating. One thing I may add is, with her low cortisol levels, has she been investigated for Addisons disease?
