Breakfast I have 40g carbs. Usually cornflakes and milk. Lunch yesterday was 40g carbs pancakes and grilled bacon and tea was 50g carbs. Chicken breast, baby potatoes and mixed veg. Two snacks at 10g carb each. Afternoon and before bed.
I am type 1. I have been for 20 yrs and always struggled. But since gettin the freestyle Libre monitor am trying really hard to get it right. Only now since having it I can see why I felt so poorly all the time. Am on basal bolus regime. Lantus and humalog
Please can someone help. I’m really struggling to get things right. From the hours of 9pm-8am have good control and in range 3.9-10. As soon as I get outta bed before I even have any food my sugars are growing fast. I then struggle all day to get them back under control. Yesterday was terrible...
