Hiya, I'm a Type 3c too. I've never had pancreatitis. I was diagnosed by a fecal elastase test and a blood test to see if my pancreas was producing any insulin.

You get diagnosed via a fecal elastase test which looks a fat in your stools.

With me it was rapid weight loss due to the pancreas no longer producing lipase, protease or amylase. Also skin problems, slow healing, floating yellowish stools (due to fat going straight through the system). Essential vitamins A, D, E and K are only fat soluble which causes malnourishment...
