Gentlemen, many thanks.. Happy to see the conversion applied equates the two readings.. the conversion I used threw back some very high numbers!. I will keep the link and utilize it after the next Hba1c test ! Onwards and upwards.. Ian

Although being 'controlled' for 16 months now, i'm still confused by the readings my Hba1c gives me (via my GP) and the BS monitor (new toy !!!!) ones. When diagnosed i was told i was type 2 at 116 (whatever they are called's).. after 16 months i'm now told I'm its down to 55. All seems good...
