I have always had 'normal' blood glucose readings but have had high blood pressure and endometriosis (pre menopause obviously) for 30+yrs. The initial rise in blood pressure at the age of 25 was coincidental with a change in lifestyle consuming copius amounts of sweet fruit wines and eating takeaway food many times per week. I had a sedentary job but played squash and went swimming regularly. I am convinced my hbp and endometriosis was caused by insulin resistance that was caused by the high intake of carbs. I lost and gained weight many times on low fat diets over the years, gaining more each time. Even when I got down to a very slim weight I still had hbp and endo. Then I discovered LCHF diet and weight loss through keto has been very easy and I no longer need any meds.
