It's more than likely high BG causing the same effect as thrush as I believe excess sugar that the body can't deal with is excreted in the urine. I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. I seem to recall my GP diagnosing my husband with thrush when he had extreme thirst for over six weeks...
My brother-in-law had his licence revoked but as soon as he got his diabetes under control he successfully reapplied for it. Your priority is to get control of your diabetes urgently.

If you cut out carbs what do you eat that won't leave you hungry after an hour? Salads are not the answer for me.
