Hello. I used to work for waitrose, they seemed to be very understanding to start off with and then things just went downhill if I'm honest. If it gets really bad there are plenty of employers that give you support every step of the way. My current employer is fantastic!

Surely everything and anything can kill you? It's about making your quality of life better. Before being diagnosed I felt awful and couldn't live normally. In the 3 years since being diagnosed I have felt better health wise. Obviously I have up and down days but its all about trying to control...
I have always been told never to reuse needles as this can cause other issues like bluntness and them hurting when they are used more than once.

I always tend to take slightly more insulin with lunch. It's just seems to work. This might not be the same for you, but worth a try!

I've always found that normal chocolate is better for you. Everyone I have spoken to never recommends the 'diabetic' chocolate.

Hi Beth, I always find it really helpful to eat something either while your out or before you go to bed. I'm 20 and have been diabetic for around 3 years. It gets easier!
