I had in inguinal hernia repair four days ago, and since then, my blood sugar readings have been ~200 when they are normally in the low 100s. I would expect a temporary rise with the surgery as cortisol levels are elevated, but shouldn't I be past that by now? I have no real pain or discomfort...
