    Yes my consultant said he was worried that i could have a hypo and balance issues if my sugar level dropped. I don't think that would happen now. How times have changed with medical advice.

    Sorry may have picked me up wrong. I was put on insulin in 1995 as a t2 but 2 years ago was advised that i was now t1. I was advised by consultant to keep levels between 7 and 10

    Thanks for reply, still waiting on an appointment for neurologist. My diabetic consultant did some tests about 2 years ago and told me that i no longer produce insulin from pancreas and said i am now T1. Over the years i have been around 10, as advised as i worked at heights i had to be around 7...

    HI I HAVE JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH THE ABOVE FOLLOWING 3/4 FAINTING BOUTS IN DECEMBER 2017, BEEN ADVISED NOT TO WORK AS I WORK AT HEIGHTS AND OPERATE MACHINERY.     Thanks for the advice, i now have a meter that i carry everywhere i go now with spare insulin and gluco tablets just in case it ever happens again, once i have my levels back to normal as normal can be, i would still like advice on low carb diets any advice would be helpful
