    Glaucoma and diabetes

Eeeek, just looked it up and it appears that there is no treatment until it reaches the 4th stage, whereupon laser treatment is required. Hopefully I'll get an appointment soon and I can discuss it with the specialist

    Glaucoma and diabetes

Thanks for that. I am assuming that as I only have drops for glaucoma that there is nothing else amiss as he would have prescribed something else, so I guess I can stop worrying Many thanks x

    Glaucoma and diabetes

I was diagnosed with glaucoma last year and regularly see a specialist for a check up. Each time I have been, he has asked me if I had diabetes and at the last visit, he said once again, "Are you sure that you don't have diabetes"?. "NO, of course not", says I with complete confidence as I was...

They will issue replacements at the Farmacia but they do not do any home testing kits and none of the other Farmacias do...

    New kid on the block

Hi everyone. I'm a 55 year old female and I've just been diagnosed with T2 :( Not overly impressed at all, but I guess I'll just have to get on with it! I live in Lanzarote (Spain) and was diagnosed last week by my temporary GP. Lovely guy but wasn't overly helpful and said that my best bet was...
