I have been diabetic for 25 years. I first got gestational diabetes which returned 'full blown' when my son was around 6 months old. I've never made excuses for my diabetes and done my best to 'rule' it rather than let it rule me. I'm not a perfect diabetic but I try my best.
I am happily married to Craig and as well as my 25 year old son our family comprises of Craig's two daughters aged 26 and 18 and our dog Mavis!
I work as a Practice Manager over two GP surgeries and have worked in the NHS for 17 years.
My favourite place is 'home' in Wales and my second favourite place is Vegas!
