Sugar level was 9.2 earlier but found out I hadn't taken my tablets this morning xx

hi I have just been diagnosed with type two diabetes and wanted to know how many of you type two use a blood monitoring machine to check your blood sugar level. I have been told not to worry about using one. But feel I would be happier if I did. Many thanks Jaynemum
